Regency Inn

This place exceeded expectations! We booked it because of its close proximity to public transport and SFO airport and it was that, and so much more. We took the Caltrain from San Jose after the Sharks game and felt perfectly safe on the 10min walk, even though it was close to midnight. The lady at reception was friendly and kind, despite the late hour. She even offered for us to stop by in the morning before our early flight to grab a free coffee. We appreciated her asking about our flight details, to ensure we had a plan to get to the airport on time. The room itself was much bigger and luxurious than we expected. Much better than your average motel/inn! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and wifi worked great. The coffee machine, microwave and fridge were very nice touches. The best part of all - it's walking distance to the FREE 24h blue line AirTrain to SFO. Google maps directions are reliable, though the staff were also able to direct us there. Save yourself an uber trip and stay here before/after your flight!

My partner and I came out to San Francisco for a day trip and stayed here and it was amazing! The front desk people were incredibly kind and helpful. We had an odd check in and odd check out time and they were happy to accommodate us. Only downside is the noise but it’s expected by the airport so really not a big deal in my opinion. Price was fair and the rooms were very clean. Absolutely will be staying here again next time we visit! 100/10 ⭐

Nice hotel near the airport. Great for a night's stay, but you can hear the planes flying over the hotel.

This was a great motel with excellent service. The people running it were very friendly and had a great response to one of our comments (they know what I mean). The room was nice and clean and even though we were close to the airport and freeway, the noise was hard to hear. The only downside is its location. The location is great for its value but if you plan to use public transport from here into the city, be sure you do your homework as SF has the most convoluted system with at least four providers. But it beats risking your car being stolen or smashed down town.

It is very close to the airport and good for the price! It is a motel style place so it can also be loud because all the planes and it is on a big road which means you can hear a lot. The shower had one hair in it quick did not matter because the shower was nice and relaxing! They do not offer breakfast but a wide variety of drinks! The people up front were nice for it beings 2:00 in the morning. It almost smelled like perfume which was not the best. The bathroom is tiny. Thanks for the visit!!!!

Stayed for a quick overnight before traveling home. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and room. Everything was super clean and comfortable with nice little above and beyond touches throughout the place. As others have stated, it is noisy. I wore noise canceling headphones and slept just fine.

Outstanding Experience at Regency Inn – Highly Recommended! We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Regency Inn in San Bruno, and we can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the rooms and service. It's hard to find accommodations this well-kept at such a good rate in the Bay Area! The rooms were immaculate—modern, perfectly clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything was well-maintained, from the bedding to the bathrooms. It’s clear the staff takes real pride in keeping the rooms in top condition. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to get work done and stay connected throughout our stay. One of the standout aspects was the attitude of the staff. Every team member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and refreshingly upbeat. There was a great sense of humor and warmth that made the whole environment feel welcoming and relaxed. A special thank-you goes to the hotel manager, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Whether it was offering local tips, helping with directions, or just checking in with a smile, their attentiveness and care truly made a difference. In short, Regency Inn is a hidden gem in San Bruno. It's perfect for business travelers, vacationers, or anyone looking for a smooth and pleasant hotel experience at a great price. Robert.

We went for the weekend and for the price it was okay. The bed was comfortable and it was very clean. Room service provided new towels and replaced anything we used such as soap and cups. Only complaint is the soap in the shower was very watered down/runny. It was close to the airport and it was fairly quiet during our stay. There’s not much around it unless you plan on renting a car. It’s far from more popular areas. Luckily there was a 7/11 nearby if we needed anything.

Great economy lodging near the SFO airport. Safe, clean and comfortable. All the basics for a great overnight before an early AM flight. Had a clean, quiet room, attentive, friendly staff, house wifi, in room coffee, fridge, micro, desk area, toiletries and complementary parking. If you're looking for a 5-Star, full service property with evening cocktail hour and a hot breakfast, well those properties are available nearby at a much different price point. No complaints about Regency and I will stay there again.

Rooms were surprisingly clean, firm comfortable bed, good pillows and with FREE parking. Only bad was the walls are a bit thjn and you can hear your neighbors if they talk loudly. Other than that you can't go wrong for the price. We will probably stay there again.
